Form W-2 is the Wage and Tax Statement employees receive from IU each year. The W-2 contains important tax information that is used in the preparation of individual federal and State income tax returns. Consenting to receive your W-2 electronically instead of paper allows access to your form sooner than the mailed paper version.
NEW: Starting September 15, 2011 all electronic retrieval will be through OneStart. To receive your 2011 Form W-2 electronically instead of a paper copy you will be required to consent through OneStart. Previous consents for electronic delivery through w2Express are no longer considered valid; you must now consent through OneStart.
To Consent or view your W-2 Go to OneStart
- http://www.onestart.iu.edu
- Select "Services" tab on the banner at the top of the OneStart page.
- Select "Employee Center" from the menu on the left panel.
- Locate the "Tax Information" panel.
- Under W-2 Information it lists your status for online delivery and the W-2 forms available.
- Click "edit" to Consent or "view" to retrieve available W-2 forms.
A new browser window will open.
- Follow the instructions on each page.
