Financial Management Services has received notice of e-mail scams that appear to come from the Internal Revenue Service. Please be
advised that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) does not communicate with taxpayers by e-mail regarding any refund requests
or amounts due; official IRS communications are mailed directly to the taxpayer. If you receive such an e-mail, you should
review this website to verify the authenticity and to receive further instruction on what to do with the e-mail you
