How do I complete the User Access Request Form to request Payroll Voucher access for an employee?

Complete the User Access Request Form as follows:

  1. Enter the Employee information requested.
  2. Select the Employee's status.
  3. Enter the Department ID and Campus as well as the Department Head's name and e-mail address.
  4. For "What HRMS web client access do you require" select IU Payroll and enter the Deparment(s) the employee requires access to.
  5. Enter "Submitter E-mail."
  6. Under "Comments" enter a brief description of why the employee needs payroll access. Examples might include "employee will process our monthly payroll" or "employee is a backup processor for our main payroll clerk"--whatever best describes the duties the employee needs access to payroll to perform.
  7. Submit the form.

Please note: While a User Access Request form must be completed for all employees who need Payroll Voucher Access, completion of this form alone will not give an employee access. In order to get access to the Payroll Vouchers employees must also attend training and complete the required compliance forms. More information about obtaining Payroll Voucher access is available here. Access will be established two to three business days after all these steps are completed and your access request has been approved by the Data Manager.
