Why is my machine locking up periodically, then giving me the following DBMS error: "Can't execute fp_gettime?"

There are a number of reasons this error message might be
received. You may have simply lost your connection to the computer where the database resides,
you may have lost your connection to the individual server which houses the software, or the FIS
database may not have been unlocked from the nightly batch cycle.
If this error is received, exit the application and IU Logon and attempt to logon again. If you still experience
difficulty, contact the FMS Customer Service department with the FMS Support Form
If the error is received outside normal Indiana Univeristy work hours, please contact UITS Operations at (812) 855-9910.
