What does the # sign mean when it appears beside the user name in the FIS?
|
The # sign is something you may see in the results section of the user ID lookup
window when attempting to establish a new user in TP. The # sign is an indication
that the person in question is not a current IU employee, though likely was
at one time. This may be because an E-Doc re-hiring the employee may not have
been processed yet. Once the employee is hired the ID beginning with the # sign
will be replaced with their real user ID.
