When establishing a routing hierarchy for my organization, is it necessary to complete a review hierarchy document for each document type?


If the review hierarchy pertains to all FIS documents, the word ALL may be entered into the "Doc Type" field. The "All" category contains most document types except Cash Receipts, Service Billings, Journal Vouchers, Labor Adjustments, Payee Maintenance Documents, and all Year-End documents. If you do not wish to include all FIS documents in your organization's routing hierarchy, it is necessary to prepare a review hierarchy document for each document type that will be affected.

Helpful Hint:
Don't forget to include the Account document in the review hierarchy if someone within your organization needs to be made aware of new accounts that may be set up by someone outside of your organization.
