What happens to the campus holiday if I don't take it?

On the Bloomington campus, if you do not use your campus holiday, your payroll clerk
will accrue the 8 hours for you, and the hours must be used by the end of the last full
pay period of the following year. If the hours are not used the following year, they are
lost.
In the case of regional campuses, your Chancellor may have determined that the campus
holiday will be the same for all employees rather than a floating holiday. Please check
with the Human Resources Office on your campus for clarification of this policy.
