Since FMS receives numerous requests of this type, it is not possible for us to accommodate everyone in this manner due to the size of the lists, the fact that we have multiple charts, and the printing costs involved. However, if you have access to the Web, and have registered to use the Indiana University Information Environment(IUIE), you can generate a list of accounts by following the steps below:

1. Log in to www.onestart.iu.edu click on the University systems tab
2. Click on Access the IUIE
3. From the IUIE home page click on Catalog, then Master Catalog, click on the Financial Folder then the Chart of Accounts subfolder
4. Scroll down and select the report entitled Accounting Listing with Accounting Attributes
5. In the Chart of Accounts Codes field, fill in the chart code for the account listing you wish to retrieve
6. Select your output format (This will allow you to make modifications to the listing once you receive it, such as deleting columns which are of no interest to you. Once you are happy with the appearance of the list you can print it if you wish.)
7. Change your maximum number of rows to now limit if you believe your report will contain more than 100 rows.
8. Finally click “Run” report.

Remember that if you are a Transaction Processing user you have the most current lists of accounts available to you at any time. You can look up accounts in the Transaction Processing system by selecting "Inquiries" from the menu bar, and then selecting "Reference Tables". You can then select the reference table in which you are interested. In this case, you will select "Account." You can then search for a specific account, the accounts that belong to a particular chart, a specific range of accounts, etc.
